Pinterest does not offer a way to embed videos directly into Google Slides. You need to extract the video content first.
Method 1: Download and Upload to Google Drive
- Copy the Pinterest video URL.
- Use a third-party Pinterest downloader to save the video file.
- Upload the file to Google Drive.
- In Google Slides, go to Insert > Video > Google Drive and select the file.
Limitations: Pinterest downloaders are less common and reliable than YouTube tools. Video quality may vary.
Method 2: Screen Record
- Open the Pinterest video in your browser or app.
- Use your OS screen recorder (Windows: Win+Alt+R, macOS: Cmd+Shift+5) to capture the playback.
- Trim the recording and convert to GIF, or upload the video to Drive and insert it.
Cons: Manual cropping and trimming. Quality depends on screen resolution.
Method 3: Slidekick
With Slidekick:
- Paste the Pinterest video URL or upload a file.
- Trim to the exact moment.
- Export as GIF.
- Send the GIF straight to your Google Slides deck.
