Snapchat has no embed option for Google Slides. To use a Snapchat video in a presentation, import a shareable link or get the file off Snapchat first.
Method 1: Paste the Snapchat URL into Slidekick
With Slidekick:
- Copy the public Snapchat video URL.
- Paste it into Slidekick — the same URL-import workflow as YouTube or Instagram.
- Trim to the exact moment.
- Export as GIF and send it straight to your Google Slides deck.
Slidekick handles URL import, trimming, and direct delivery to Google Slides — no manual download step when the link loads successfully.
Method 2: Export from Snapchat to Google Drive
- Open the Snapchat video and tap Save to Memories if you have not already.
- Go to Memories, select the video, and export it to your camera roll.
- Upload the file from your camera roll to Google Drive.
- In Google Slides, go to Insert > Video > Google Drive and select the file.
Limitations: Only works for videos you created or saved. Stories from other users cannot be exported unless they send them to you.
Method 3: Upload a local file to Slidekick
- Export the Snapchat video to your device (Memories → camera roll).
- Upload the file to Slidekick.
- Trim, export as GIF, and send to Google Slides.
If you insert Snapchat videos into Google Slides regularly, Slidekick lets you paste the URL, trim the moment, and send GIFs straight to your deck — no install.
