Google Slides has no native TikTok integration. To add a TikTok clip, you need to convert it into a format Slides accepts.
Method 1: Download and Upload to Google Drive
- Copy the TikTok video URL.
- Paste it into a downloader like ssstik.io to save the file.
- Upload the file to Google Drive.
- In Google Slides, go to Insert > Video > Google Drive and select the file.
Limitations: Downloader sites vary in reliability and may include ads. The video retains its original watermark.
Method 2: Screen Record
- Play the TikTok video on your device.
- Use your OS screen recorder (Windows: Win+Alt+R, macOS: Cmd+Shift+5) to capture it.
- Trim the recording if needed.
- Convert to GIF using a tool, or upload the video to Drive and insert via Insert > Video > Google Drive.
Cons: Manual, time-consuming, and quality depends on your screen resolution.
Method 3: Slidekick
With Slidekick:
- Paste the TikTok video URL or upload a file.
- Trim to the exact moment.
- Export as GIF.
